Leadership · Make visible

Leadership Audit

Are you leading as a leadership team the way the situation demands? The Leadership Audit makes visible how your leadership system actually works: where it holds, where responsibility blurs, and where it gets in the way of leadership.

What we examine

  1. Roles and responsibility

Who is responsible for what, on paper and in practice? Where do responsibilities overlap, and where are there gaps?

  2. Interplay between executive management and the leadership team

Do they lead together or side by side? Where is unity put on display, and where does it really exist?

  3. Committees, rhythm, escalation

What meetings are there, what is decided in them, and what is merely reported? Where does whatever isn’t resolved go?

  4. Fit with strategy and AI

Does the leadership model fit what the company plans to do? What does AI shift in knowledge, roles, and pace, and what does leadership therefore need to learn anew?

How we go about it

  • Conversations with executive management and the leadership team, individually and together
  • Observation of leadership meetings and committees in real operation
  • Comparison of the org chart, role descriptions, and actual practice
  • Mirroring the findings back to the leadership team: clearly, respectfully, without assigning blame

Result

Findings on your leadership system: what holds, what blocks, what’s missing. No ranking and no assessment of individuals. With the findings, the leadership team redesigns how it works together in the Leadership Lab.

How it differs

The Leadership Audit is not a potential assessment and not HR diagnostics. The Decision Audit examines how decisions are made in your company; the Organization Audit examines the organization’s structure and processes. More on how this differs from HR programs on the Leadership page.
