A leadership team can't simply decide how it works together. It has to practice it. In the Leadership Lab, it redesigns roles, leadership principles, and committees and tests them in everyday practice, in short cycles.

What gets designed in the lab

Roles

Who in the leadership team stands for what, and what each role no longer has to do.

Leadership principles

A few jointly formulated rules against which leadership can be measured day to day.

Committees and rhythm

Fewer meetings, clearer purposes: What is discussed where, what is decided, what is merely reported?

New learning

What the leadership team needs to learn together in light of AI and a new strategy, and how it learns it.

How we work in the lab

  1. The leadership team works together

Not each on their own, but everyone at one table, with executive management. The starting point is the findings from the Leadership Audit.

  2. Agree rather than decree

The leadership team designs roles, principles, and committees itself. I structure, mirror, and name what goes unspoken.

  3. Test in everyday practice

The new agreements apply for a few weeks. Then we look together: What held, what didn’t, what do we change?

  4. Consolidate

What has proven itself becomes part of leadership practice and is made visible to the organization.

What the lab is not

  • not leadership training and not a seminar
  • not a team-building event
  • not coaching for individuals: personal development is offered as Exponential Leadership

Leadership

The path in three stages

Before that: the initial conversation. Clarity on whether to continue, and with what.
