Transformation guidance:
transformation that holds

The new configuration has been tested. Now it has to take hold across the whole organization, including where old patterns are stronger than new rules. I guide the change while keeping the transformation itself in view.

Patrick Schmid, deep in thought

Keeping transformation itself in view

Change is rarely linear. In transformation processes, structures, history, interests, and unspoken patterns collide. This is exactly where I come in: not as a consultant with ready-made concepts, but as a mirror with an outside vantage point.

My focus is on ongoing or planned transformation processes. I guide them individually, in context, and without prefabricated templates, always in the service of genuine development.

What gets implemented here

From the pilot area to the whole organization

What worked in the lab moves into further areas, adapted to their situation rather than copied.

Governance in day-to-day business

New governance meetings, interfaces, and responsibilities have to prove themselves in day-to-day business. I guide the first rounds and help adjust.

Stepping back

What is really happening? Which patterns keep repeating? At fixed intervals, we mirror the transformation itself, not just its content.

How you can tell it’s working

  • Coordination between areas works without a detour through executive management.
  • The bottlenecks from the audit have shrunk, and that can be shown.
  • Middle management supports the new configuration instead of translating it.
  • The organization adapts without a new reorganization every time.

As a project or ongoing

As a project

For rolling out a specific reconfiguration, with on-site guidance, offsites, and sparring at the leadership level.

Ongoing

Shared responsibility for a set period: regular reflection on the transformation with management, plus deep dives in individual areas as needed.

The path in three stages

Before that: the initial conversation. Clarity on whether to continue, and with what.
